QS/1’s Images and Imprints service lets pharmacy staff view drug images on-screen during prescription processing, providing a simple and accurate means of visually verifying medications.
Reduce the risk of prescription filling errors and ensure accurate drug dispensing by referring to the images of more than 34,500 (NDC) medications.
To ensure patient safety, this service allows the pharmacy to print drug characteristics, such as color and shape, and imprints, such as letters, numbers and symbols, on the prescription label. Characteristics and symbols that are stamped on the drug allow the patient to support verification at home and prevent a possible mix-up.
